The Village is in need of a Temporary Utility Operator for the term of (March 1, 2019 to August 1, 2019). The term may be extended for up to an additional three months at the Village’s discretion. Working under the direction of the Public Works Foreman, the Temporary Utility Operator In-Training will be required to perform duties currently undertaken by the Village’s Public Works Department.
The ideal candidate should have excellent multi-tasking, communication and organizational abilities, diverse talents in trade related skills and have demonstrated experience in the operation of equipment and maintenance of municipal public works related to water, sewer, building facilities (including HVAC), roads (including snow plowing) and parks infrastructure.
This is a temporary 40-hr work week position including a current wage range of $27.27 - $28.49/hr and benefits as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
